Privacy policy

This is a one person business. I read the enquiries myself and I do not sell anyone's details to anybody.

What I collect

When you buy a print, I collect your name, email address, delivery address and phone number, along with the details of what you ordered. Payment card details go straight to the payment provider and never reach me.

When you send a commission or artwork enquiry, I collect whatever you put in the message, usually your name, your email and something about your horse.

When you subscribe to my emails, I collect your email address and your name.

The site also collects the ordinary technical information any website does: pages visited, how you arrived, rough location, browser and device.

Why I collect it

To send you your print, to answer your enquiry, to keep the record of your certificate number and your edition, and to let you know when new work or a new print edition is released.

Who it is shared with

  • Shopify, which runs the store
  • Shopify Payments and Afterpay, which process the payment
  • The courier or art transport company delivering your work
  • Chapman and Bailey and IAS Fine Art Logistics, but only if you ask me to introduce you for framing or delivery, and only what they need to quote you

I do not share your details with anyone else, and I do not sell my list.

Marketing emails

My emails go out through Shopify. You can unsubscribe from any of them with the link at the bottom, and I will not email you again.

Cookies and tracking

The store uses cookies to keep your cart working and to understand how people find the site. Social platforms I advertise or sell through, such as Meta and Pinterest, may also set their own. You can block cookies in your browser, though parts of the checkout may stop working if you do.

How long I keep it

Order records are kept for seven years, as tax law requires. Enquiries I keep for as long as the conversation is live, and often longer, because people come back to a commission years later.

Your rights

If you are unhappy with how I have handled your information you can complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.
