Shipping policy
I pack and send every print myself from my studio in Victoria, Australia.
Limited edition prints
Prints are made to order. Allow 2 to 3 weeks from your order to dispatch, as each one is printed, checked, signed and numbered before it goes.
Your print is rolled and sent in a rigid tube, unframed, with its certificate of authenticity and care instructions inside. Before it is sealed I film the packing and email you the video, so you have a record of the condition it was in when it left me.
Your print travels in a 105 cm rigid mailing tube, 12.5 cm in diameter, rolled around an inner cylinder, wrapped in cellophane and then bubble wrap. The parcel weighs about 2 kg and must be signed for on delivery.
Please do not touch the surface of the paper. Leave the print in its tube and let your framer unpack it.
Shipping within Australia is free.
Framing and delivery
Prints are sold unframed, so you can choose a frame that suits your walls.
If you would like me to arrange it, I will introduce you to Chapman and Bailey, who frame my own work. They will quote you directly for framing, and the framed print can then be delivered by IAS Fine Art Logistics. Both are quoted separately, both are optional, and you deal with each of them direct. I do not add anything to either.
For what it is worth, the frame most of my clients choose is a shadow box, also called box framing, in natural raw timber, black or white to suit the room, with a white mat board and non reflective glass.
Original paintings
Originals are not sold through the cart. Delivery is arranged individually once a work is sold, and quoted as part of that conversation.
Most originals travel with IAS Fine Art Logistics, fully insured. Paintings are stretched by Chapman and Bailey in Abbotsford before they go. The stretching is included in the price of the painting and is never billed to you. Framing and delivery are quoted to you direct by Chapman and Bailey and IAS.
Overseas
I ship worldwide.
Overseas works are sent rolled in a cylinder, and you arrange stretching and framing with a framer in your own country. This is standard practice for large canvases and it is far safer for the painting than shipping it stretched.
Any import duties, taxes or customs charges in your country are yours to pay. They are not included in the price and I have no way of calculating them for you.
Prices
All prices are in Australian dollars and include GST.
