"Chilli Rose"

As the sun dips below the horizon, it casts a rose gold glow over the gentle spirit that is my beloved mare, Chilli Rose. This painting captures not just her beauty, but it serves as a heartfelt reminder of the fleeting moments we have. Every sunset urging us to take a moment to cherish each day, to pause now and then to soak in the beauty surrounding us.

Life is a series of moments that evolve into memories. Just as the light dances across Chilli Rose’s coat in the fading glow, let us slow down.

Let us hold those memories gently, for they lay the groundwork for our present. Ultimately, life is a masterpiece waiting to be painted—one day, one sunset at a time.

"Time"

This piece resonates deeply with the complex relationship we all have with time. Each version of ourselves—shaped by experiences, choices, and the passage of years—contributes to the masterpiece of who we ultimately become.

Throughout our lives, we encounter myriad joys and struggles, moments of triumph and instances we’d rather forget. Yet, every phase plays a vital role in shaping our identity, guiding us on our unique journey. Time is a relentless force—one that cannot be bought or bribed.

In this painting, I aim to capture that profound complexity: the beauty found in acceptance, the grace in letting go, and the strength it takes to celebrate all parts of our story. Even the versions of ourselves we might wish to erase or overlook are essential brushstrokes in the larger picture of our lives.

"Guardians"

A Journey with Rescued Souls

This painting tells the incredible story of three brave horses who found their way. They have taught us invaluable lessons about resilience, love, and trust.

We’re grateful for their presence in our lives. May we always treasure the bond we share with these noble beings as they continue to lead us through every challenge.

Desert Spirits

The horses are depicted in powerful motion, giving a glimpse into their spirits. I used a detailed and realistic technique to showcase their anatomy and musculature, while the dramatic contrast with the dark background makes them leap forward visually.

Overall, the painting exudes a sense of freedom and energy and honors the beauty of these noble animals.

Can’t wait to see it in UAE

"Phoenix"

"Phoenix." This powerful symbol serves as a poignant reminder of the complex dance between darkness and light in our lives. We often focus solely on the triumphant end result—the moment of rising anew—yet it's essential to remember that our shadows and struggles hold invaluable lessons. They provide the context and depth we need on our journey, reminding us that growth often blooms from discomfort.

Whether we are looking back at our past or gazing toward promising futures, each perspective enriches our understanding of who we are and who we aspire to become.

The darkness serves as a reminder of the resilience we've built along the way, highlighting our strength in overcoming life's challenges. In contrast, the light beckons us toward new possibilities, urging us to chase dreams we might never have considered. Embracing both elements is crucial; they shape us, teach us, and drive us forward.

Returned from an incredible trip to Argentina and I am absolutely blown away by the stunning patterns and textures of the Argentinian halter. The intricate artwork and unique designs are truly inspirational.

The way the patterns come together to create such stunning artwork is truly one-of-a-kind. I can't wait to incorporate these beautiful designs into my own work.

Not a Single Doubt

Whistlejacket

An overwhelming visit to the National Gallery in London today. Two years ago, I was referenced by international art critic Damian Smith to have similarities in my work with the great equine artist George Stubbs, referencing his most famous piece “Whistlejacket”. I’ve was unaware of George and his work, however now feel an emotional connection to this piece. I can see the connection we both have to portray the sole beauty of the horse.

George Stubbs (1724-1806)
Whistlejacket, about 1762
Whistlejacket, the second Marquess of
Rockingham's prize racehorse, is presented
full-size and rearing in the /evade position
usually used in equestrian portraits of
military commanders. A specialist horse
painter, Stubbs deliberately depicted
Whistlejacket without a rider against a
blank backdrop, making the viewer focus
solely on the majestic beauty and
unrestrained power of the Arabian stallion.
