Limited Edition Prints

Signed, numbered and packed by hand. Each print is taken from one of my original paintings, and once the edition is gone no more are ever made.

This is the way into the collection. The editions hang in homes across Australia and in collections in Hong Kong and the United Arab Emirates, and they are held to the same standard I would want for my own walls.

About the Prints

Each print is taken from one of my original paintings and produced as a limited edition, some in editions of fifty and some in editions of twenty-five. Once the edition is gone, no more are ever made. Every print is signed and numbered by me and carries its own Certificate of Authenticity.

They are printed at close to life scale, roughly 1.2 metres across, on the same museum-grade cotton paper used for gallery work. A print is not a poster of a painting. It is made to hang for a lifetime.

Packed by Hand

I film every print as it is packed and send you the video before it leaves the studio, so you have a record of exactly the condition it left in. It is a small thing, but when a work travels rolled in a tube across the country, I would want it too.

Framing

Prints are sold unframed and framing is arranged separately with your own framer. This is what I ask for when I have one framed myself:

  • FrameTimber, in natural raw timber, black or white, chosen to suit the room
  • MatA white mat board, so it sits quietly with the border already on the paper
  • GlassNon-reflective
  • SpacerA spacer to hold the print off the glass, where your framer prefers one to a mat

If You Would Rather I Arranged It

If you would like the framing organised for you, I can do that. I use Chapman and Bailey in Melbourne for my own work, and I will introduce you to them by email so you settle the timber, the mat and the glass with them directly. They quote the framing on its own and you pay them for it.

Once it is framed, the print can be delivered to you by IAS Fine Art Logistics, the fine art transport company I use for most of my own work. That is quoted separately as well.

Both are optional. Nothing is added to the price of the print either way.

Your print arrives rolled in a mailing tube. Please have it removed from the tube by a professional framer rather than unrolling it yourself, as paper this size holds its curl and a framer will flatten and handle it without marking the surface. Please do not touch the surface of the paper.

Delivery

If your print is in stock it ships within 24 hours. Otherwise please allow one to three weeks while it is printed, signed and numbered.

Prints are packaged in a mailing tube and sent by express Australia Post with tracking. The parcel must be signed for and cannot be left unattended. Inside the tube you will find your certificate and care instructions.

If you have taken up the framing option above, your print does not travel in a tube. It is delivered framed by IAS Fine Art Logistics and quoted to your address.
