About Leo
Leo is one of ours. My husband and I rescued him along with his mother Zen, and we broke them both in ourselves. The bond we have with them now is the reason I keep painting them.
He is named after Leonardo da Vinci. He is a paint horse, so it seemed fitting.
A film of Leo and me has been watched more than seven million times.
Leo and Zen appear with a third horse, Chief, in Guardians, a three and a half metre painting commissioned by the woman who originally owned all three of them.
